The Friends of Mascoma Foundation celebrated its 5th Birthday at the Hometown Heroes Dodgeball Showdown on Saturday October 25th. It was an incredible and fun community event! We’d like to offer our heartfelt thanks to Officer Corcoran of the Canaan Police Department for coordinating this event and to all of the local First Responders who played dodgeball! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Friends of Mascoma’s 5th Birthday🎂!

We’d also like to thank Red Wagon Bakery, 603 Bakery and Cafe, and Carolyn Neville-Freese of Duck Soup Catering for supplying a birthday cake and other tasty treats.

Members of the community were asked to bring canned food and snack items and boy did they deliver! We received 178 pounds of food from this event. Thank you all for helping mark our first 5 years! Cheers to many more!
