Q: Who is able to shop at the food pantries?
A: Residents of Canaan, Enfield, Dorchester, Grafton, and Orange are invited to shop.
Q: How often am I able to shop?
A: We welcome you to shop with us once a week.
Q: How are the food pantries funded?
A: The food pantries are funded by generous in-kind and cash donations and grants. Donations have been made by individuals and organizations around the country. We also receive many donations locally.
Q: I am not able to make it to the food pantry, what should I do?
A: We understand that lack of transportation, working hours, and illness cause some residents to be unable to make it to the food pantry during scheduled hours. There are several options to help overcome these issues. If you are facing this issue please call 603.632.4542 or email info@friendsofmascoma.org and leave a detailed message including your name and contact information. Please be sure to repeat your name and phone number twice in your message. Your phone must be able to accept phone calls from caller ID blocked numbers.

A: In case of a food emergency please call your town emergency services numbers:
Canaan: Human Services = 603-526-4501 x 1060 or Police Department = 603-523-7400
Dorchester: Call Canaan numbers (see above*)

Grafton: Human Services = 917-334-9088 or Police Department = 603-523-7667
