Friends of Mascoma Foundation (FOM) was formed by a group of community advocates committed to supporting the needs of the Mascoma Valley Regional School District (MVRSD). FOM provides support to the MVRSD on initiatives that foster educational development for our students.
Core areas that FOM focuses on are:
- Supporting students by funding supplemental educational opportunities and scholarships.
- Providing teachers with "mini grants" enabling them to offer additional educational programs to their students.
- Enhancing and improving the reputation of the district by helping highlight our communities’ commitment to education.
- Supporting successful existing programs to include more students or enable more financial support to expand.
- Supporting our Friends Feeding Friends food pantries and meal initiatives.
FOM is registered with the State of NH and is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization with the IRS.
The Friends of Mascoma Foundation strives to raise and appropriate funds to foster educational advancements within the Mascoma Valley Regional School District.

Secretary & Founding Member
Born and raised in Enfield, New Hampshire, the Upper Valley has a close place in my heart. I was a 2000 graduate of Mascoma, and headed to Syracuse University for my undergraduate degree in History and Education. I moved back to Enfield in 2005, and have been teaching at Hanover High School for the last 10 years. I deeply value the experience I had at Mascoma and I also value educational opportunities and public education. I am a true supporter of Friends of Mascoma and its mission to improve and add to the educational experience for our kids.
